We are all human and life can be difficult, especially in the ever-changing world that we live in today. My job is to create a place of healing and love. I help my clients to accept and learn to love themselves, gain skills to thrive in relationships and live their lives in an empowered and meaningful way. Individuals may struggle with anxiety, depression, low self esteem, hopelessness and/or complex trauma.. Each and every one of us deserves a healthy and balanced life, and I help individuals to create this through purposeful therapy experiences. Trust and acceptance are my guiding principles. I have a holistic and collaborative approach and will use different evidence-based practices that fit each individual. Everyone is unique, as is my therapeutic style. I create a safe space that empowers my clients to grow. I feel honored to support people on their sacred journey.
I was born and raised in the Hawaiian Islands. My work with local families has added a depth and breadth to my psychotherapy. I work with a variety of people from different walks of life, and value and understand that a person’s cultural lens is crucial to the overall therapy process.
I provide psychotherapy services to children, teens, adults, and families. I also love working with and supporting the LGBTQ community. I meet clients right where they are and incorporate humanistic approaches and techniques that fit each person. I integrate Family Systems Therapy (FST), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mentoring, and mindfulness into sessions to help treat an individual’s body, spirit, and mind.
