I believe healing is most effective when we look beyond symptoms to understand and address the underlying causes of emotional and physical suffering. My approach combines the best of traditional psychiatry with integrative and holistic care to help each person achieve lasting wellness.
Over the past 20 years, I have had the privilege of caring for individuals in a wide variety of mental health settings. Here in Hawaiʻi, I have worked at The Queen’s Medical Center, Maui Memorial Medical Center, Family Guidance Center, the Adult Mental Health Division on the Big Island, and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
My training includes residency in General Psychiatry, fellowships in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and Addiction Psychiatry, as well as advanced training in Integrative Psychiatry and Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy. My clinical interests include addiction, functional psychiatry, psychopharmacology, nutraceuticals and supplements, exercise and lifestyle medicine, and the role of spirituality in optimizing mental health and overall well-being. I am board certified in both Adult Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.
My goal is to partner with each individual to understand their unique story, clarify their goals, and develop a personalized treatment plan that supports both mental and physical health. Whether through medication management, integrative psychiatry, or other evidence-based approaches, my intention is to help you move toward greater balance, resilience, and a higher quality of life.
It is a true honor and privilege to accompany people on their healing journey. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve and look forward to working with you.
