Aloha,
I am a Trauma Therapist. Together, we go on a journey of healing, helping your body to find the root of your trauma and then guiding it to release. You are not your wounds. As you release your wounds, you rediscover the true self that is beneath.
I work with individuals who are struggling with anxiety, depression, PTSD, pre or postpartum depression/anxiety, eating disorders, and major life transitions. I provide individual therapy sessions and I am also an integration therapist for the Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) program. Trauma healing and ketamine are both expansive and help people to see the natural healing power that is within. I love supporting clients through this powerful process of discovery. I offer a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space of collaboration with my clients, where we can explore life experiences and gain deeper insight into the root of internal challenges.
My approach is holistic and integrative, drawing from somatic therapy, mindfulness-based practices, EMDR, IFS, CBT, multicultural counseling, attachment theory, and trauma-informed care. Together, we’ll work toward building greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, and practical tools to help you navigate life’s stressors from a place of empowerment, ease and confidence.
I was born and raised in Costa Rica, where I earned two degrees in psychology and a yoga teacher certification, launching a path rooted in holistic healing and service to diverse communities. I moved to Hawai‘i in 2015 and now live in Honolulu with my husband and son. When I’m not counseling or teaching yoga, I enjoy surfing, tackling DIY projects, and building sandcastles with my 9-year-old.
I am here for those who are ready to do this type of powerful work. I would be honored to work with you.
I work with individuals aged 19-75:
