Welina mai kākou!
It is my calling to care for others’ well-being as a whole. Life moves fast, but taking time to rest, breathe, and reconnect with yourself is essential. I know that wellness starts within and you can’t take care of your whole body without prioritizing your mental well being as well.
Finding inspiration in myself, the world around me, my personal life experiences, and from my family who prioritized communication and mental health, I found myself being drawn to help others and to support them during some of their most needed times. I’ve known from early on in my life that I wanted to focus on the importance of mental health and overall wellbeing, not focusing on one part of the body but the whole. Leading me to pursue a career in nursing and a hope to focus on mental health.
I have gained valuable hands-on experience in psychiatric and behavioral health settings—including previous work as a Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) Technician and extensive clinical training through dedicated psychiatric mental health rotations. These experiences deepened my passion to pursue nursing and commitment to prioritizing mental health. My goal is to always deliver safe, empathetic, compassionate, and patient-centered care that is specific to each person. I aspire to create a safe space filled with kindness where you can feel everything you feel and be who you are. Each journey is different for every person and I hope to be a positive light during your mental wellness journey in any way.
Outside of work, I try to nurture my own mental wellbeing through my passion for hula and embracing my Hawaiian culture. Some of my other self care activities include journaling, taking care of my physical body by going to the gym, and most importantly spending quality time with loved ones.
You are always the priority and I look forward to meeting, supporting and working with you on your healing journey!
