Bio Picture

Paul Culver , MSW, LCSW

I feel honored to take individuals on their healing journey. I help people to gain insight into their gifts, to understand their pain and to heal their wounds. I develop strong therapeutic relationships and lasting rapport that promotes healing and change. I utilize a client centered and trauma informed approach, incorporating modalities of Eye Movement and Desensitization Therapy (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Problem Solving Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness approaches.

I started the journey of becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker following 21 years in the United States Marine Corps.  Experiences from a lifetime of interaction with diverse cultures and backgrounds allows me to develop strong therapeutic relationships and lasting rapport that promote healing and change.  I believe that we all need help at some point in our lives, and I intend to use my experiences to help people become the best version of themselves.

I work with people who are struggling with relationship issues, job stress, unresolved trauma, unresolved grief/loss, procrastination, depression, anxiety, alcohol or substance use, low self-esteem, and fragile self-concept. I provide a relaxed, friendly and solution focused counseling environment that focuses on setting goals that can be accomplished, and strengthening emotional security.  I understand everyone wants to grow and return to their “normal”.  Together, we are a team. I listen to your concerns, needs and ideas, and meet you right where you are.

“We become like those we surround ourselves with.  No man or woman becomes great on their own.  We all need people in our lives who raise our standards, encourage, and challenge us to live our essential purpose and become the best version of ourselves”

-Matthew Kelly
