After following my own journey of healing, it became clear to me that my calling was to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Substance Abuse Counselor. I feel honored and privileged to be a team with my clients, supporting them on their healing journey. I have committed my life to helping others through their struggles and see my work as a true blessing. I’ve had the opportunity to serve a multicultural and diverse group of individuals in a variety of settings over the last 16 years.
I consider myself a warm, genuine, and compassionate person, who listens with my whole heart. I provide a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to share their pain and heal their wounds. I believe my clients are the experts in their own lives and each person comes with a unique perspective, life experience, and path. I believe people heal and grow within the context of a healthy, trusting, and safe relationship, which is what I provide to those that come to me for help and support.
I utilize a person-centered and trauma informed approach, incorporating modalities of Instinctual Trauma Response (ITR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Christian (biblical) Counseling. I work with people who are struggling with relationship issues, domestic violence/abuse, unresolved trauma, grief/loss, significant life changes, depression, anxiety, alcohol or substance use, low self-esteem, and fragile self-concept. I would be honored to work with you.
I offer Individual and Couples Therapy. I work with people aged 18 and older.
